Barry and Sherry on Vinyl. (November 8th)

Hey all,

Happy to announce that on November 8th, Barry and Sherry will (finally) be released on limited edition 150g Deluxe Clear Vinyl with the Chicago label Lateral Records.

The great thing about this release is with each purchase of the record $1 will be donated to the Chicago non-profit foundation, Growing-Home which provides job training through a non-profit organic agriculture business.

I decided to give my friends shots of this really bitter liquor called Malört and film their reactions. This drink has a cult following in Chicago.



On the bottle it states: "Most first-time drinkers of Jeppson Malort reject our liquor. Its strong, sharp taste is not for everyone. Our liquor is rugged and unrelenting (even brutal) to the palate. Netherfriends x Heartichoke - Too Week EP (limited release to 50 copies)

To be released this Sunday on CDR at the Inconvenience, come see both bands perform the Lollapalooza after party.

Too Week EP was written and recorded in two weeks by Netherfriends and Heartichoke.

On track 1 and 3, each artist recorded the basic progression and vocals to the other’s workstation allowing them to create the additional arrangement. Track 2 and 4 consisted of one guitar progression recorded by two microphones, one going into each other’s computer, the rest was decided by the respective artist.

August Tour

This is Michael, he is from Ireland. About 6 months ago, he contacted me asking if I still need a drummer. I was looking, but I was also a little hesitant to have someone from overseas fly to the states just to play drums with Netherfriends. I asked him to send me a video of him playing drums, he sent me a video of him playing 5 Netherfriends songs. He did something that most of the musicians I play with don't do. LEARN THE SONGS before practice!!!! He will be playing shows with me for the next 3 months. Please come out to the shows and maybe say hi to him. You should also buy him an American beer... I can only afford PBR and High life.
